Fred Kakon GUITARE : Frédéric Kakon

Son of a drummer and a singer, he has grown by hearing jazz standards. He begins the guitar by listening to the album of Joe Satriani "Surfing with the alien".
After several years working the pieces of Joe, he gets interested in jazz-rock guitarists like Frank Gambale and Pat Metheny.
He played in several groups of jazz-rock, in a guitar duet and created last year the Fred Kakon Quartet with the pianist Franck Monbaylet. They carry out with these musicians the disc of the singer Thierry Arnaud "Jazz Brel".

With a classical training on violin and jazz on piano, he embraces the music as a player, composer and arranger. He takes part in many creations in several styles : classical, spanish (Noche Oscura with the double bass player Renaud Garcia-Fons), south American and jazz (with Philippe Renault, Mokhtar Samba...).
He also carries out the music of movies and shows (Napoleon Unique of Paul Reynal) and is the pianist of the famous Emilie Jolie show.
He can be the needed guy in all the situation by his open-mind and his technique.


Dominique Bertram BASS: Dominique Bertram

He began the bass at 4 and collaborated quickly with jazz-rock bands like the well-known Magma. During the Eighties, he is one of the most demanded session man (Michel Jonasz, Veronique Sanson, Laurent Voulzy...) and recently Liane Foly and Patrick Bruel.
He wrote two albums "Chinese paradise" in 1985 and "Bass now" in 1992. He also carried out two bass methods with ID Music.
As a jazzman he collaborates with many artists such as Khalil Chahine, Thierry Eliez and Mino Cinelu

He began studying drums at 10 in the Academy of Jazz of Monaco. During his studies, he started to play as a professional at 16, playing during private sessions in hotels, TV shows, radios and so on.
In 1985, he chose a professional career and collaborated with international artists such as Chris Rea, Henri Salvador, Michel Legrand, Dee dee Bridgewater, Khalil Chahine, Randy Brecker,...
He is the co author of rhythmic methods : Groove Performance with the bass player Philippe Chayeb and takes part in many master-classes everywhere in France.
